Permitted Travel Purposes
The Azerbaijan eVisa is issued as a single-entry visa to applicants from Countries Eligible for the Azerbaijan eVisa When applying for the Azerbaijan eVisa, applicants must select a travel purpose that aligns with their trip.
1. Tourism: For travellers visiting Azerbaijan for leisure, sightseeing, vacations, or cultural exploration.
2. Business: Issued to visitors who intend to establish business relations, attend meetings, conferences, or cooperate with companies and organisations in Azerbaijan. It does not permit employment or working with a salary in Azerbaijan
3. Official: Travel to Azerbaijan for governmental, diplomatic, or official representative duties, including assignments involving foreign state bodies or accredited international organisations.
4. Science: Issued for travel to Azerbaijan to conduct scientific research or attend scientific events, such as conferences or seminars.
5. Education: Issued for travel to Azerbaijan to pursue studies or enrol in an educational institution.
6. Cultural: Issued for travel to Azerbaijan to participate in cultural activities, including events, performances, or festivals.
7. Sports: Issued for travel to Azerbaijan to take part in sporting activities, competitions, or related events.
8. Labour: Visa for visitors intending to engage in paid work/labor activities in Azerbaijan.
9. Medical Treatment: For visitors who intend to receive medical treatment or healthcare services in Azerbaijan.
10. Private Visit: For people entering Azerbaijan to visit family or friends, or for other personal reasons not covered by other categories.
11. Humanitarian: For individuals visiting for humanitarian purposes, such as charity work, voluntary service, or related humanitarian activities.
Validity and Stay Duration of the eVisa
Irrespective of the selected travel purpose, the Azerbaijan eVisa is issued with the following validity and stay conditions:
- Validity: 90 days – Enter Azerbaijan within the visa validity period
- Stay Duration: 30 days – Leave Azerbaijan before the 30-day stay period ends
